🖨️ Important Printing Instructions
Print on standard 80g printer paper
Make sure to set your printer to 100% size
(file format is exactly DIN A4)
Some printers scale automatically – please deactivate this,
otherwise the motif will not fit exactly around the cheese box
✂️ How to build the lantern
Large lantern:
→ Glue the 2 A4 sheets together precisely (glue stick)
Small lantern:
→ Cut the A4 printout in half lengthwise
→ Glue both halves together to form a narrower strip
🎨 Additional materials you'll need
🧀 Cheese box with 15.3 cm or 11 cm diameter
(standard sizes for lantern making)
🎨 Colors of your choice:
Watercolors, wax crayons, colored pencils, felt-tip pens, ink
🕯️ Cooking oil or candle wax
→ makes the paper transparent & beautifully luminous
🔥 Iron & paper towels
