My tip:

If you want to glue your paper projects using a very "wet" method, make sure to use waterproof and lightfast ink with your inkjet printer. (This information is indicated on the cartridge packaging).

Otherwise, simply coat the unprinted back of the paper with glue and finally seal your artwork (e.g., a decorated chair) with clear varnish spray.

Prints made with a laser printer (even from a copy shop) are generally always waterproof and lightfast, and are also perfectly suited for photo transfer techniques.
